MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER
I graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Seville in 2003, specializing in Design and Printmaking. Before that, I studied English Philology for two years and lived in London for a year. When I returned to Seville I decided to pursue design and its application in art, always keeping a close link with the world of culture and music.
In 2004 I started designing decorative pieces inspired by flamenco and Andalusian popular culture for the brand "Flamenco Cool", work that I combined with designs and editorial layouts for a wide range of private companies and public institutions.
From 2004 to 2017 I worked hand in hand with Ricardo Pachón, the influential musical producer of artists as important as Camarón de la Isla, Lole y Manuel, Pata Negra or Veneno among others, carrying out the Art Direction of his record and audiovisual label "Flamenco Vivo" and doing the design of numerous record productions, the design and layout of projects for the conservation of flamenco, the digitization and dating of his video archive and the creation of audiovisual and graphic material to support conferences and for his social networks. I have also designed posters and dossiers for artists and flamenco shows for Dani de Morón, Diego del Morao, Duquende, Farruquito or Ángeles Gabaldón among many others.
Since 2016 I have been more specifically interested in audiovisuals and 2D animation training and researching on its different techniques such as stop motion, video collage, motion graphics or video art and videopoetry. In 2018 my video poetry piece “Aldebarán” created in stop motion is selected in the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster | Berlín
Between April 2019 and December 2020 I am pursuing a Professional Master's Degree in Video Editing and Post Production, Motion Graphics and Graphic Production. My final master work “Odisea Sideral” was chosen as the Best Final Project among all the school's areas of study in its awards competition CEI Awards 2020.
From 2021 to the present, in addition to graphic design and the editorial design of the book catalog of Serie Gong Editorial, I have made promotional videos, videoclips and videopoetry pieces. Highlighting the animations “Run away” y "The Outcasts" of the film "El otro lado de la realidad" released on Cineteca Madrid in September 2022 directed by Gonzalo García-Pelayo and produced by Gervasio Iglesias (distinguished with several Goya Awards and numerous national and international awards). I also continue to expand my motion graphics skills at Motion Design School.
