TRIANA PURE AND PURE
THE LAST GREAT FEAST OF THE GYPSIES OF TRIANA
Triana Pura y Pura is a musical documentary that narrates the expulsion of the gypsies from the Sevillian neighborhood of Triana in 1957. It also recovers the moment when those same gypsies gather for their last big party at the Lope de Vega theater in Seville in 1983. A performance that shows the way they had of singing and dancing, absolutely magical and personal. It is a co-production of La Zanfoña Producciones and Flamenco Vivo, directed by Ricardo Pachón and distributed by Universal Music Spain.
In the conception of the design I worked on the idea of textile and colorful materials using fabrics and embroidery with flowers, polka dots or prints and creating fonts that were also sewn and embroidered by hand, with the intention of evoking the joy and mix of colors and textures that it displays. a gypsy flamenco party.
In 2013 it won the Best Film awards at the Barcelona InEdit Festival and the Imagenera Award from the Center for Andalusian Studies. In 2014, it was nominated for Best Musical Feature Film at the Latin Grammys and opted for eight candidates in the Goya Awards.

Screens with graphic content
I made the screens with graphic content that appear in the documentary with the same resources that I used in the design of the poster and the DVD digipack. Embroidery, flowers and textile textures.
